Hey Y’all! I’m back!! Vacation was wonderful!!! No alarm clocks, no appointments or meetings, just pure relaxation. As soon as pictures are downloaded, I will do a post on my exciting adventure in Destin (hint: it involves screaming, a shark and a parachute)!!
Update on a couple of things:
- I move to Ireland in a week. YIKES! How do you pack your life into 2 suitcases for 3 months??? Since I haven’t started packing yet, any suggestions would be appreciated.
- I got my Power 90 videos in the mail and will be starting these as soon as I get to Ireland. Considering I will be in Ireland exactly 90 days, this should work out well. I hope I can stay motivated to get up in the morning and do the workout.
- I read two books over vacation:

Slone Crosley’s How Did You Get This Number was pretty good. This is a collection of short stories, which any 20-something girl could relate to: finding a roommate, buying nice vs. cheap furniture, being a bridesmaid, etc. She finds the humor in her awkward life tales. However, its hard to get into a book of short stories, and none of the stories relate therefore I give it ♠♠ (2 spades out of 4). I am using ♠ because ummm….why not??
The book that I did manage to finish in less than 24 hours: Tina Fey’s Bossypants. This girl is funny, but duhhh you already knew that. I really enjoy biographies and finding out where a person has come from in life, what struggles they had to endure, etc. If you think Bossypants will be a biography…well you are sadly wrong. Yes, it tells the story of Fey’s successful career path, but half the time you don’t know what Fey has made up. This is a great easy read and its even better if you are a fan of SNL as she references skits that came together on accident or that pushed the envelope too much.I give this book ♠♠♠♠ (4 spades out of 4).
I have had my blog exactly a month today. So far, I have had 49 comments and 762 views total. Before I leave for Ireland I want 100 comments and 1,000 views!! So leave your piece, and share with others.
XOXO-
